-HOW WALL INSTALLATIONS CAN TRANSFORM YOUR INTERIORS-

All the people who are already following my Instagram account would be familiar with the project that we recently carried out at one of our client’s space. Today’s article is all about wall décor and how a simple stencil painting done on a wall can have a great impact on its interiors.

Since early history walls have been decorated with paintings on them. These wall paintings comprised of their day to day activities and then changed to tribal prints. All these were done on the exterior but recently the era has been changing. We have started to adapt to the wall paintings done in the interiors, enhancing it further more. Let’s find few ways in which wall paint techniques can transform your place.

A small bedroom can be made spacious by applying the two-way technique (at least I call it that) of applying paint coat on the wall. In this we apply one color of our choice till 3/4th of the wall from the ground and 1/4th of white till it meets the ceiling which is also of the same color. This can be done in vice versa too. It makes the ceiling height look much higher thus making the room look spacious.

This wall was customized for one of our photographer client who can use this space for his small shoots or even to hang his works in the future. This small wall painting done on the wall can transform your boring wall to look amazing.

Often, we see stone cladding, brick cladding done on the exterior and also the interiors. Often wondered how to get that effect with paint if you can’t afford the cladding? It’s simple, take the paint of your choice, make the stencil of your selection and just enjoy painting it.

Apart from doing the whole wall, we can also opt for small stencils done on the wall which can add the little homely feeling even more. We get a lot of stencil patterns available on the net from which we can choose and just apply on our walls. Asian paints have come up with various stencil patterns from which we can choose easily too.

Painting style, use of the products such as sponge and brush also plays a major role in this. We can use sponge instead of using normal brush, which gives it a more natural look.

Indulging your kids to do so and asking them to go crazy with hand prints is an easy way to create an art piece.

Having the Ombre effect on the wall is also a good idea which can be done with maximum of two colors.
